About Genuine Recovery

Responsible Mind Integrity

Integrating Analytic Psychology, Christian Thought in Mental Health Wellness

Genuine Recovery is a continuous healing process, as is life. It begins and is established in the mind.

Sobriety is not just abstinence from alcohol. It is soundness of mind. It’s being all here; mental, emotional-spiritual, physical, now in the present.

The definition of sobriety not only means to be intelligent, understanding, and considerate. It is soundness of mind. A natural balance without the interference of a substance to shift the rhythm of conscious. Stability.

This for me is what Responsible Integrity genuinely is: reason and passion of Character, Morality, Principles in action.

It is the striving to be at your best in the process of maturing in an emotional world. Coping to life adequately, more than adequately.

We grow in the direction of the choices we make.

That growth depends as much on how we make decisions as on which ones we make.

Our understanding is our will. As you experience more in life, with an openness and eagerness, that understanding can change. Thus, new action in behavior begins.

What is life asking of you? What questions are you asking of life?

The most important gift we can give or receive is an authentic life experience of kindness.

Being true to our real nature and behaving consistently, is not an easy task. A capacity for growth is required.

Do you have the capacity? YES!

You can decide to break free from the seductions and distractions of emotions, people and time. Begin to live a principle centered life. Starting where you are now.

Honesty, Faith and Trust in yourself, is a bedrock foundation to lay. It must be built with experience.

In doing so, we create, shape and build our character.

Discovering our own values, aligned with Hope, gives us a greater sense of responsibility and integrity today.

When we connect, align and cultivate a daily relationship with our true Higher-self, a serenity can be achieved and soundness of mind is sustainable.

Self discovery of our unseen, deep seated, hopes, desires, strengths and weaknesses assists us in developing who we really are. This can be referred to as your shadow.

Knowing thyself is integrating the two opposites into a union or unity.

With this new understanding, we can accept our past and present experiences and confidently move forward in life, sequence by sequence.

trust is established and every decision we make, every step we make, is committed to living a life that is open, honest and genuine to ourself and ourselves alone.

This is the creative method of self mastery; a process, a willingness.

Proceeding forward, we are certain to experience fortunate opportunities well beyond our highest imagination.

Saying “Yes to Life” in spite of everything.

This is the will to meaning and the promise on the way to being fulfilled and free.

I invite you to live the experience of Genuine Recovery with me. It’s an art and way of life.

This renewed sense of being can build your character and strengthen your desire to make your dreams manifest. Carry on with this positive frame of mind.

It will lead you In a direction. Perhaps even the right one for you. Most of what is required is perseverance, willingness and to trust a process that at first you may not understand—then let go. Remember that people can and will help you. Ask for help.

Stay grounded and focused, knowing that as you move forward in your life with faith and trust, all that you will ever need will be supplied.

Welcome to the realm of applied faith.
